Moving inside the truck, the Mojave boasts premium features and soft-touch surfaces that are just as beautiful as the desert itself. Taking inspiration from the desert, the Mojave can be outfitted with available steel grat leather-trimmed seating with orange accent stitching for eye-catching appeal. Other features include orange tow hooks, a heavy-duty performance hood with center scoop, unique exterior badges, and a unique hood decal.

Can you tell me about the Mojave's engine?

Under the hood of the Mojave, drivers will find a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine generating 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine is outfitted with engine start/stop technology for enhanced fuel economy! The standard transmission match is a six-speed manual but like with any other Gladiator model, an eight-speed automatic transmission is available. The Mojave can tow up to 6,000 pounds and handle a payload capacity of 1,200 pounds.

What does it mean to be Desert-Rated?

The Mojave boasts Jeep's first-ever Desert Rated badge. In order to earn the badge, Gladiator Mojave engineers built the truck with specially-tuned high-performance FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks that maximize bottom-out resistance, comfort, and handling on high-speed sand runs. The Mojave also had to pass in five grueling areas including ground clearance to make it sure it can drive up and over obstacles with ease, maneuverability for precision when climbing steep sand dunes or flushing across open flats, and ride control and stability to ensure that the desert-tuned suspension has the rebound and jounce needed to soak-up the desert terrain. The Mojave also has to boast desert prowess to combat the intense heat, loose gravel, coarse sand, and invasive dust and lastly traction to attack unpredictable surfaces!
